Reflecting on Feelings

Knowledge Building:   Emotions are complex and can fluctuate based on a number of different circumstances. Understanding what we are feeling and why we are feeling is a key component of emotional intelligence.  Leverage Abraham Hicks emotional guidance scale to gain self-awareness.      

Comfort Zone

Knowledge Building: Situations that can make people feel physically, mentally or emotionally uncomfortable.  To identify your comfort zone… focus on the physiological responses that are connected with your thoughts. Here are some examples: elevated heart rate, body temperature, or blood pressure, sweating, anxious, jittery, or panicky.    

Behavior Change

Knowledge Building: Behavior Change: The process and outcomes of altering one’s actions, habits, or reactions in response to stimuli. It involves intentionally adopting new behaviors, modifying existing ones, or discontinuing behaviors altogether.  

Fear & Vulnerability

Knowledge Building: Fear is a natural biological response to protect ourselves. It’s an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat.  

Doubt

Knowledge Building: Doubt is a state of uncertainty or lack of conviction regarding a particular idea, belief, or decision. Doubt can stem from a lack of evidence, conflicting information, or personal insecurities, and it may hinder one’s ability to make decisions or take action confidently.

Flexibility

Knowledge Building: Flexibility is the ability and willingness to change or adjust one’s thinking or behavior. Bend easily without being broken.

Adaptability

Knowledge Building: Adaptability is the quality of being able to adjust to new conditions; willingness to change in order to suit different situations or circumstances.

Mitigating Stress

Knowledge Building: Stress is a normal response to an external stimulus which generally dissipates once the stimulus goes away or the situation is  resolved. Anxiety is an internal or persistent reaction to stress
