Enabling Time Trackers on Mobile Devices
Tracking time on digital devices will better allow individuals to understand their relationship with technology. Depending upon the reports available, individuals might even be able to identify where they spend the most time within specific applications.
Apple
Once screen tracking time is turned on, Apple users will get a weekly report with a summary of their screen usage time. This report will also let users know if they have increased or decreased their screen time.
Go to Settings > Screen Time, tap App & Website Activity, then tap Turn On App & Website Activity.
Google/Android
Android users need to use the Digital Wellbeing application to track digital usage. If they prefer, Android users can edit specific tracking methods based on each application.
- Open your device’s Settings app.
- Tap Digital Wellbeing & parental controls.
- The chart shows your device use today. For more info, tap the chart. For example:- Screen time: What apps you’ve had on screen and for how long
- Times opened: How often you’ve unlocked your device and opened certain apps
- Notifications received: How many notifications you’ve gotten and from which apps

- To get more info or change app settings, tap a listed app.
